Jenners Inspired Makeup

Hi there lovelies! I'm just making a short post regarding my Instagram photo about the Jenner sisters inspired makeup. Yes, I'm talking about the infamous Jenners: Kylie and Kendall.

As a KUWTK fan I've seen them since they were little, and grew up so fast, right before my eyes.As expected they grew up as glamorous as their half sisters, The Kardashians. You know it right, they're the daughters of Kris Jenner (the mom of the Kardashians) and former Olympian Bruce Jenner (who's now Caitlyn Jenner). They've been pretty busy these days like their older sisters, donning expensive wardrobes and becoming ubiquitous as they've been also invited in prestigious occasions, gala and award shows.

When Kylie hit puberty I started rooting for her, as what everyone says she's gonna be like Kim. Pretty face, and a good body for a youngster, she's definitely gonna take the spotlight from her older half sister someday.What I didn't expect is that in the span of 3 years she'll started turning to be a different person and she's like Kim when she's in love. Yes there's Tyga, the Kylie Jenner Lip challenge on Instagram, accusation of lip fillers.. but that's none of my business. She nailed it anyway as she started the 90's inspired lipstick trend: matte brown, over lined lips.

As for Kendall, I've been pretty happy of what's happening in her career as a supermodel. Those sexy long legs have landed her front spot at the Dolce & Gabbana A/W Collection 2014, and more fashion houses made Kendall their muse. There's Chanel, Balmain, Tommy Hilfiger and more.

Of course as a sucker for every Karjenners in terms of beauty and fashion, I've tried recreating numerous looks from them and in my 12345x attempt I was close enough to just two looks. I just tried to get all the color inspirations, based from what I see that are painted on their faces. I'll be showing you pictures, my own take and the product breakdown.

First look's from Kendall's fresh neutral and nude makeup at the American Video Music Awards.

Then here's Kylie's Instagram photo that I really love since the glitters were so visible though she just took it with her phone.It's the combination of glittery bronze and gold eyes, contoured cheeks and midi lips. FYI, midi lips means lip colors that aren't bright and aren't even nude. More of like 'your lips but better' type of hue. 

Here's my take and I only got two nice shots. I actually love the result of phone pictures more than using professional and digital cameras. I'm bad when it comes to taking the right angle when doing a selfie so phone cameras with good front and back cam were very helpful. If I don't use phones with front cams where I can easily see myself, I end up with photos having wide forehead or extra long chin.. or bulbous nose... asymmetrical face or uneven eyes!

Lastly, I would like to share with you how I did a Kylie Jenner Inspired matte brown overly lined lips that I also posted on my IG. Here's the inspiration. She's still very pretty, but she doesn't even look 17 anymore.

It's a combination of a high end lip liner + cheap matte lipstick = Kylie Jenner Signature pout. I I used Christian Dior Lip Liner in 513 Linen line my lips and a local Filipino cosmetic brand Ever Bilena's Matte Lipstick in Mauvey. I've also tried Avon's Lip Liner pencil in nude and in my honest opinion I love it more than the Christion Dior Lip Liner.

TIPS: I heard Kylie actually uses Mac Whirl Lip liner and Mac Brave Lipstick. You can also Try Mac Velvet Teddy Lipstick. For dupes, you can try NYX Mauve Lip Liner and Wet n' Wild Megalast Lipstick in Bare it all.

Bronze Eyes and Baby Pink Pout

Hello there! Another December blog post! Today I think I nailed my makeup coz I really love how it turned out in person and in pictures. Maybe I could also blame the ample amount of time to paint my face. Don't we just hate it when we only have few minutes left, we have to hurry up but then you needed more time to even out the wings of your eyeliner? I really hate those moments. 

Nothing is more productive for me than doing everything at the last minute, but not with my makeup. I badly need an hour for everything. Just like a painter, to be able to get a good canvas and a good outcome, I need time and peace of mind. Sometimes I have to blame my mood and the short time I've got whenever my makeup application s*cks. I even plan the night before on what shades to mix together.

A Short Story to share...

My family and I (extended family included) have suddenly decided to go to Skyranch in Tagaytay just to spend time together and feel the extremely cold December breeze. Just when we thought it's just gonna be a "colder" place, we found out it's gonna be a bone-chilling coldness! It was even drizzling when we get there and our ride was parked on the opposite side of the amusement park and we had to walk on the flyover just to get to the Skyranch (we parked near the casino). That bone chilling coldness felt good at first, but then after staying there for six hours I was having headaches already.. but then.. the makeup's still fresh and dewy, no touch ups at all.

Unfortunately there were too many people and I wasn't able to ride the Super Vikings.

It takes too much time just to fall in line to get the ticket and even fall for another line to get to ride the Vikings. Going there right after Christmas is a bad idea I guess. Anyways, we still enjoyed our time there, eating and playing on the artificial grass. I would definitely want to go back next month.

Adios 2014

I guess this really will wrap up my final post for 2014! One thing I noticed is that I didn't get crazy on my hair this year, and I've been blonde all year long! I really love it, I want to have lighter and longer hair for 2015. For my makeup, it has improved. My eyebrows were done pretty neatly now, it's actually the hardest for me. I could perfectly do other people's eyebrows and I always have a hard time doing mine. This time I'm actually using a lot for it but look how it turns out. For this year I'm still in love with neutral makeup paired with pink, coral or peach lips, and whenever I feel really fierce I just reach for my Mac Russian Red. I've been really skinny too.. which has been my dream since I started gaining weight in 2011. This year I miraculously shed my baby fats without doing anything. Motherhood made me skinnier! Even my skin has improved a lot. 

Resolution

For 2015 I want to paint faces again, I've talked to some people and I'm gonna become a MUA again, so I need to buy new palettes, brushes and a bigger traincase. I want more makeups in my collection, but I promise I'll stick now to cheaper ones.. gotta look out and try cheaper cosmetic brands.**I'm keeping my fingers crossed** Gotta organize my makeup stash, and become a better mom and a better wife.

For my blog, I'm still trying to improve it, and as what my cousins and friends have suggested I'll try to do more product reviews, makeup tips and makeup inspirations. If the time permits, I'll try to write and blog more.
