Update! New Hair Color and Everyday Makeup Look

My everyday FOTD still consists of colors ranging from tangerine to peaches,pinks and corals, and for my eyes I'm still in love with taupe and smokey browns.I had my roots retouched recently and I think it's too light,but after seeing the pictures taken from my baby's christening day I realized it's beautiful!

so this will be my new look for the first half of 2014. I'm really aiming for a bit darker 'do but my hairdresser decided to make it lighter. I thought it won't work for me, but it really turned out ravishing! Everyone's asking me about the shade's name or even the salon I went to.

All I know is that it's called "very light blonde" but it still has copperish tinge to it.

After my baby's christening my friends and I decided to hangout and we chose Skyranch in Tagaytay City. That last week of January breeze was extremely cold! It felt like winter for me, but then I was the only person wearing a jacket. We had our dinner at Red Engine Diner.

 
 
 

Everyone's chilling, and they still want to grab a cup of frap! My husband and I just grabbed a hot cup of mocha, coz I was really chilling to death. Believe it or not, I'm not a fan of coffee, or even sweet foods. It makes me dizzy and makes my tummy go crazy..

Funny thing about that day is that my hubby should be left with his friends coz they're drinking. He left his friends just to go out with us, and resumed drinking right after we went home.

I think this year will be really good coz also for the first half of 2014 I've landed a new job. Hooray! It's not gonna be that easy since I have to balance everything but I know I can do it!

Also, my bestfriend came home after a year of not seeing her around, and I had a few moments with her and with our highschool pals.I really miss her!!

My hair today reminds me of the blonde I did way back 2011. That time I just bleached my hair without the help of a professional, and it was a little dry..

I still want to dye my hair darker coz it's so hard to match it with my makeup! I look so pale without makeup on.

As for my baby Draven, everybody loves him. Even the church lay minister can't resist his fluffy cheeks.

Hair Problem Solved

I never had hair problems. I'm blessed with straight healthy hair. I remember my elementary classmates used to envy my long luscious locks, and how my college friends tell me my hair reminds me of a shampoo commercial.. that i just need to finger comb it, it was never messy. I was born bald, and I had my hair a bit long at the age of 3, so my mom decided to let my hair grow. At the age of 7, it was up to my waist. I had a perfect long hair with a natural reddish brown shade.

Til the age of 13 I kept that hair.I had the image of a white girl with long locks, then I got bored.I cut it, shoulder level. Since then, I had a hard time growing it long again.

I was already working when I started playing with hair dyes.. and hair bleach.

It's still healthy though, a bit dry on the tips, but still shiny and straight.

Then I learned the power of scissors and cutting my own hair.I just don't know when to stop whenever it's in my hands. I've been blonde, gothic, and a mess (uneven color) when I tried blonde, I had a hard time matching it with my eyebrows, or even my makeup. General rule is that I shouldn't look pale or too washed out, it was tough.

I won L'oreal and Maybelline's big contest for cutting and dyeing my own hair.

these were the goodies I received, but then I received something better than this coz they added a cat-eye mascara,  and the eyeshadow shades were in gold and green hues, which I love.

I have love and hate relationship with black. Sometimes it looks good on me.

I love how it matches smokey eyes.. and the way it gives off a glam goth feel.

 

Dye..cut.. it has been a cycle for me, until I found out I'm expecting a baby and that's the last time I touched my hair. The last haircut I had was November 2012. Last time I dyed it red it that faded into Chestnut was February 2013. Since I was pregnant, so I had to stop everything!!

For almost a year I didn't touch it, now it's a mess. Top part (virgin hairs) were black, starting from the ear part it's light brown. EEEEKKKKKKKKKK!!!

It never happened to me, having my hair grow without retouching the color.

It's like an ombre hair gone bad, but my husband said it's beautiful. Oh well...

Look at the biggest relief I got when I saw this picture of my fave Kylie at the Believe premiere. My hair's almost like this!! I realized it's still pretty. But I have to dye it after a month or two. Old folks told me I should wait for 2 months. Second month will be January.

When curled, it's as pretty as this one.

Seeing her hair like this finally solved my problem, which means mine doesn't look too bad. I'm just worried that it looks awful, glad it isn't. At least my hair's not curly, wavy, fluffy or whatever you call it.. those are common problems for women, that's why having it rebonded is their option. Still lucky mine's silky straight. I think I'm gonna dye it black instead, once I have a chance.Most local celebrities are now dark heads like Anne Curtis & Solenn Heussaff.

Which color suits me best? how about my cut? My hair's too long now, I think it's an advantage of being too busy.I want to cut it but then my husband once again told me he loves my hair being long..

Hello there!! I'm not sure if it's going to be my last post for this year, my egg has been hatched! I've been so idle and lazy for this year, I miss blogging, applying makeups, and so on. For 2014 my brain's full of plans. For my new family, career and business. If I've been too lazy and idle I'll be extremely productive next year, it should be a resolution!!!!!

Today's blog will be just about the throwbacks and flashbacks of my old and some were recent looks that I have and haven't posted. I want to share it again coz as I reviewed the past looks I've received so many questions about some makeup techniques or what lippie, nailpolish, eyeshadow, hair dye or foundation brands I used. Most of them were from my personal Facebook account. It makes me happy knowing that there were women, young girls and lady boys who admire my amateur talent in makeup application.I've also helped a lot of my old college and highschool friends and co-workers and they're soooo addicted to makeup now, sometimes I envy them coz they now found the right shade of eyeshadows, powders or lipsticks that really go or blend well for their complexion.

Urban Decay Naked 1: Cult's fave and a holy grail. For easy mix and match of smokey brown eyes, you really can't go wrong with this palette. I couldn't remember the event/ocassion and the other makeups I used.

I used Virgin below the brow bone, Naked for the whole crease,

half baked for the inner eye area, Smog for the inner half crease and  Dark Horse mixed

with Creep for the outer V.

This Christian Dior Travel Kit has been my favorite until I realized the eye shadows

Glowing Nudes and Bronze

This has been my favorite look of all time. I love my haircut, haircolor, how I've perfectly done my brows, my lipcolor and the natural glow on my face. I couldn't do it again, I don't know why. It took me a long time while doing this look, I was waiting for my friends to pick

me up for our roadtrip, I had too much time and I've even contoured my nose.This has been the perfect look I've ever done, and I'll try to figure it out and do this look again. 

It's inspired by Kim Kardashian way back 2007.  I tried to contour my face

and bronzed out the pale side of me. I really want to get a good tan.

Pink Lips at Sentosa

Everybody loves this pink lippie. It looks good on anyone,

and I'm wearing it in most of my pictures, though it wasn't really my holy grail.

I remember I went to an amusement park wearing this lippie and the girls

were talking about my lips in the washroom.

I brought it with me in Singapore and I shared it with my friends.

Couldn't remember the rest of my face again, but for lips

it's Mac Lipstick in Pink Nouveau.

Red Lips at Sentosa

I went back to Sentosa in Singapore and this time this lippie has turned every heads of

Singaporean Men, not because I'm pretty enough to cause a 360 degree head turn, but maybe my lips are too bright and shocking, even the female species in Philippines and SG were giving me a second look. It;s my HG red lippie, Mac's Russian Red. Red Nails were from Etude House.

I ordered 3 Nyx Lipliners online and it should be in pink, tangerine and purple. Unfortunately the available colors were all in shades of pink. I still bought it and gave it to my 2 pretty friends. The lipliner that I used as a lipstick is Nyx Hot Pink.

I'll be collecting more of my makeup looks for next year, for my hair I'll no longer dye it, I'm planning to be a black headed girl, so my husband and I will be twins. Hahaha. :D
